As the ships begin to pull away from the island, they begin to dump the animals off the side. Not caring whether or not they've hurt the animals, they left. If the animal got under the ship, they'd die. That's how things worked. That's how everything seemed to work. The weakest die and the strongest survive. Life wasn't and still isn't fair. However, the dogs began to work together and create their own packs - hunting together, breeding, etc. Cats began to make their own little clans, and surpringly, they are still in the game. Horses are herd animals, and many horses seem to be living here on Paradise Island. They work together and help each other stay out of trouble and keep their populations up. Welcome to, Paradise Island. Please be sure you read our rules and thank you for joining. Or at least looking at it(:

Wow, guys. I can't tell you how much this really means to me. I mean, getting it the first time around was really an honour. But a second time? I don't know what to say. I know I've been busy for a bit, what with school and all, but it's touching to see that I still have an effect here on the sight. It's members and staff like you guys that make it worth it. Thanks for the votes, and thanks for making the best rps I've ever had!

February 09, 2010: Tomorrow is the season change! I wont forget it this time ;D We also have a new chat box! It is one that got introduced to me today and I decided we'd try it. This chat box will be default color only since I cannot find a transparent color like the last one! If it doesn't go too well, I'll change it back to the old chat box - but so far, I like it. It has a bit more control for us rather than the other one. But we'll see how it goes. No avvies for this one, sorry! -Not like we ever used one to begin with- haha. I love you! ~ Korra

O M G. Wow...like...wow guys! I personally say I don't deserve this, since I disappeared for a total of three weeks then just showed up, but I ain't complainin'! I could just hug you guys all to death for the votes and I am proud to say this is the best RPG I've been on in a VERY long time! I luff you guys, always and forever! I still find it funny that after nearly a year of being with you guys, I've yet to spawn any offspring of my crazy, off the wall characters. X3 And it's funny that I'm voted MOTM before that too! I seriously fell out the chair when I got this PM. I luff you guys, I seriously do. You guys are my internet family! And since I'm redneck and related to just about everyone in my town, that's saying something that I chose you guys for family!

The current season is fall! The grass is beginning to die and turn to rust. The trees are slowly becoming bare and the temperature is beginning to drop. The sun shines during the day and sets quicker than it has during summer. The animals should gain their winter coats soon for winter is right around the corner.

Next Change: February 10th

"Why couldn't it stop? The hunger pains were enough to drive any dog crazy but it seemed as though the heavens wanted to see her drive into a crazy stage. To see her thrive on nothing. The bitch drove her nose harder into the floor paneling of the rundown church, searching for any type of life scurring to get home."

[ ]Angeni Mountain (3 sub-boards)
Cold and wet, this mountain in the summer is green and has running water at all times. There are plenty of ever greens which stay up all year long, and then thick trees all around. In the winter, this is the coldest mountain you'll ever know. The mountain get plenty of snow, some of this snow bringing trees down due to the heavy weight. The sides get slick and slippery, making it a challenge to walk up or down. During the night when the sun goes down, this mountain gets extremely cold, so if you do not find shelter or get off this mountain by nightfall, you could get frozen to death. During the day, this mountain is safe to be on, except for the high winds that could take a light weight animal and throw it off. This mountain is rough and harsh, and honestly doesn't have the best living conditions for any animal.

[ ]Avalik Tundra (3 sub-boards)
The land is large, however, flat. There are several swells along the way that distrupt the peaceful flat enviroment. The land is cold and dry, only letting small plants survive. The place barely has trees, there are high wind speeds, and it is constantly snowing. The winds here are bitterly cold, leaving you frost bite within minutes. There is, however, one sign of civilization - or at least what use to look like civilization. There is a small building, a shack even, that has lost its shape and form, but still provides as a shelter. The shack's outside is covered with snow and ice, however, the inside managed to stay put. There is some snow here and there and around the outer edge of the shack, it is cold, however, in the center it is quite dry and provides a nice stop for the night.

[ ]Secret Valley (3 sub-boards)
They say the northern lights happen in only Alaska, then why are they happening here? Almost every single night there are colorful green, red, pink, and blue colors streaming through the sky. The only nights it doesn't happen are the nights when there is no clouds. The nights there is the most colors is when a lightning show happens before it. Secret Valley has many trees, life, and water. In the summer it is always green mixed with some yellow and red here and there due to flowers. In winter, it is all white, like winter wonderland. There are trees and these trees are not bare, yes, these are ever greens once again. Every once in a while, you'll spot a maple tree or oak tree, but not often. There is always shelter here, either its the trees or its a den in the ground.

[ ]Ecarlet de Lune Forest (3 sub-boards)
The name is beautiful and flowing, Ecarlet de Lune Forest which means Scarlet Moon Forest. It sounds so peaceful, so loving, yet it's so scary. These woods are cold, always having a mist or a fog covered through. The moon finds its ways through the leaves and trees, making light which makes the terrain that much harder to see. The terrain is filled with cracks, bumps, locks, and rocks. Small rocks and large rocks, you must watch out where you step. No running is allowed here, for you might get your leg stuck and then break it in panic. It is a hill, going down, with plenty of jagged rocks and branches and trees, and at the very bottom is a small and thin creek. The creek barely covers your foot and it's filled with rocks which are slippery due to moss. In the winter, this is all covered in snow, which makes it seem like a flat terrain when it is not.

Is there always an ice storm here? Thats what you'll ask yourself if you come to ice land. Ice land is covered in ice. None of the trees grow during the winter because they're simply frozen. The ground has a slick ice sheet over every section and you'll catch yourself falling if you cross a dry spot. Iceland has nothing growing, it's all a cyan blue color with ice. During the summer, Iceland is a whole new world. It is covered with many types of trees, is has a river, it has grass, and it actually has life. It's not dead like it was in winter! Enjoy your cool time at Iceland, just be sure you don't crash through ice and find yourself in the middle of a river.

[ ]Tonto Ranch (3 sub-boards)
It's a small, run down ranch that has been abandoned for a long time. There's a small ranch house with old rotting furniture and covered in cobwebs. It has the style of a southern victorian home that is three floors high and the white paint job is chipped and ugly looking. The wrap around pourch has large holes and the floorboards are rotted out and being eaten away by termites. Outside a large Oak sits just a few feet from the house it's branches large and thick. On the small ranch there also is an old barn that hold old stables. Mice and owls have made this old barn thier home and it's a great place to take refuge for a few nights. One of the stalls holds large stacks of old hay that can be a warm bed for any weary stranger.

A beautiful grassy meadow full of life and full of wildflowers that make this area absolutly magnificent site. Various birds fly over the meadow and rest in the neaby forest that surrounds the meadow. Every spring the meadow breaks out in a beautiful mass of different colors that cover the entire meadow. A spactacular and beautiful site to see. Groundhogs and other rodents roam the long grasses all year round. There also is a large whitetailed herd that roams the meadow and forest. At one edge of the meadow is an old, rotting and broken fence, but know one knows what it's purpose was.

The sun shines down through the trees glimmering on the forest floor. The forest has enough space between the trees to run, that is until you come to Senka Oaks. Along your tavels on the road you can find a large old church with broken windows and doors. Another place you can see is Yellow moon Pond. The farthest down the dirt road would be the beach. On your travels to these places you can find many different spots to adventure including a large rock pile that seems to be made by humans.

Although there is one oddity of the plains, a graveyard thats at the far north of the territorry. You can see this small graveyard on the top of Aysu hill. Another part of the territorry is a series of small watering holes where the animals meet to share a drink of crisp, cold water. Many different creatures inhabit the area including Proghorn antelope. The antelope are vary fast so cecking them is impossible without a pack or clan.

These lands are the most cursed of all of the Southern Lands. Rain never comes really, only wildfires and deathly sunlight. You can definitely not want to be here. You can tell that humans were here long ago, because there are paths in this land, old, wearing ones, and a handmade hut that is most vulnerable when it comes to wildfires. It is dry, prey is always scarce, but it is a place to go if you wish to commit suicide near the gorge, and practice climbing up a slope for your life, or race away from a wildfire, or just bask in the light, heart pounding every second expecting something to hop out and attack you, or feel heat and look up and be eaten up by a giant wildfire. These lands are unpredictable. There are so many predators, and it is open land, there aren't many trees to hide under. Welcome to the South Lands. Its either fight for your life or die here in these warm lands. Beware, and be careful, and the gods wish you luck when you enter this land in particular!

This is a broken down ranch, probably, no one can tell. A huge hurricane probably came and killed it because it is right near the shore of the island. Animals usually come here to relax in these great lands, there are sights to see, and you don't have to always be on watch, because the grass isn't that dry, and the broken down ranch could only start a small fire that they could all run away from quickly. The grass is extremely long though, but you can keep easily hydrated with the small pond on the east edge of the land, and maybe you could cool off in one of the shadow caves. Stay away from the Broken Down Ranch if you have done a bad deed to a bad elder that you love, because it is rumored that if you go in there you can speak to you dead loved ones for just a limited time, even if you don't want to, trust me they will come. They are Shadow Ghosts, spirits that will never settle, which is no surprise, spirits never settle on Paradise Island.

This is a really warm corn field. The field is huge, and probably was planted over twenty-five years ago. The corn-stocks are still up though, with no corn. It always blows away and onto the ground for the birds to get it. At least you can attract prey. Maybe the horses could even eat some of the corn! This place gets extremely cold at night, but during day is is 101 degrees or colder. Quite enjoyable, eh? You could always bask in the sun, wildfires only start on the corn stalks, not you or the ground in font of you... or does it? There is no grass here, unless you count the dead grass and dead hay lying on the ground there is nothing but dirt. There is no water here. Prey and sunlight. Great combination, but where's the water?

[ ]Lago Bruto (3 sub-boards)
Lago Bruto is a large lake that is filled with water. The grass is well content all around it and some flowers sometimes bloom. It is actually beautiful here, all you need to do is soak up some moss and put the moss on the soil where the plant is. It keeps the plants alive. Even though the sun beats down hard here, there is water where you can take a nice drink, its cold and pretty clean, and you can swim in it to refresh yourself. Large fish live in this pond though, and this place is filled with eggs of turtles, frogs, and toads, and lizards, and there are predators in the water, so be extra careful with your young ones also! This is like a community home. There are caves alongside the lake, and there is a broken down barn near it where horses can sleep if they want, just don't get trapped in the stalls, it will be hard to get you out!

Pretty self explanatory. Its a desert that probably is as long as a mile. You won't have luck crossing this sandy barren land. Plus, when you walk on it, it will surely burn your feet. Unless you go at night, and it is freezing at night. Surely you will die either way. No one has ever made it across this desert, it would be paranormal if you did. If you wish to show off, you could always kill yourself here, it is a simple conductor of death. The sand always catches on wildfires, and you can get dehydrated very easily. Whatever you do, try to avoid this place and go somewhere else. You could always try the lake and you could drink there, but if you come here, can't say I didn't warn you.

[ ]Choking Swamp (3 sub-boards)
The Choking Swamp is home to a colourful variety of plants and animals. Any kind of vines, moss, twisting trees, and stabbing scrub brush can be found here. Though as abundant as the plant life is, very few large animals dare venture into the swamp itself. While the very edges are often deemed safe, farther in the trees begin to crowd closer together. The water level rises, and many places are flooded almost year round. In the winter, the swamp is frigid and bare. The small animals, such as frogs, turtles, rabbits, and the occasional deer venture out less and less. Yet during the heat of the summer, the swamp is buzzing with life. It has a reputation for having swarms of insects and an insufferably high humidity in the warmer months, but also that of abundant game. For predators, it is difficult to hunt here, but the prey is easily found.

[ ]Misty Lake (3 sub-boards)
Misty Lake is the largest, uninterrupted body of water in the western area. It stands clear in the middle of the territory, and feeds the various rivers and streams that run through the land. The largest river that runs from it is what feeds the Choking Swamp, flooding it each time it rains. But, on the opposite side lay the less densely forested areas. At Misty Lake, many foragers find themselves a pleasant watering hole. But with the scenic view comes a price. Out in the open, all who near the lake's edge are vulnerable to attack. In the heat of the day, it is often crowded with various animals, all fighting to get a drink before a predator comes. Though canines and large cats are often a problem, danger lay just beneath the surface of the water as well. Misty Lake has become well known for having reptilian attackers during the summer months. Though rarely seen at any other time of the year, those who come to the water in the sweltering heat have good means to be cautious.

[ ]Demo Plaine (3 sub-boards)
Demo Plaine is exactly what its name eludes it to be. Though still far more waterlogged than most other grasslands, it has the most wide open space in the entire western area. Connected almost directly to Misty Lake, wide tracts of grass carry on for miles. There are few trees on the plain itself; only on the farthest edges, where the swamps take over once more, do the trees make themselves known. Many winding rivers flow through the area, drowning out any flowers and larger plants just as soon as they take root. The grasses here are tough and resilient, often less favorable in taste, but packed with vitamins and minerals. The creatures who reside here are guaranteed to be fit and healthy. If not from the plentiful resources, then from the constant threat of attack from being in the open.

Valle Amargo is only the remains of a once proud valley. Now nothing more than a dried flat, the water that once ran so freely here has since moved on. Different minerals in the water have remained, and give the area an odd smell to this day.

[ ]Gravestone Beach (3 sub-boards)
The farthest away from the swamps and lakes is Gravestone Beach. Few go here, aside from scavengers. Those who are dumped on the island, and are in too poor of health to survive often wash up here. Their swollen bodies are quickly disposed of by the many birds that call the beach their home. Many of the rivers and streams from Misty Lake end here; they rejoin with the ocean once more. The smell here is often powerful, driving away only those desperate enough to scavenge. But, because there are so little around, those who can cope with the obvious downsides can be promised a safe, plentiful home. There is always food available, few predators around, and plenty of cover with which to hide in. A paradise hidden behind the swamps, with a few dozen corpses added in.
